Tapaere Lodge is a small family run property located on the outskirts of the village of Mapumai, in a luch tropical garden setting. The three units that make up this property are studio type layout units featuring, a full kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, coffee & tea facilities and dining suites. Each unit has a double bed and a single bed and a well equipped kitchen. Mosquito netting and fans to provide comfort in our tropical climate.
Managers and Owners, Papa Paiere and Aunti Nga live on the property and are most happy to provide you with any information you need to know about the island. Papa Paiere has much knowledge and offers fantastic historic tour of the island where you can insight into the way of life before the missionaries.
