The Edgewater Resort is located on the western shores of Rarotonga and is the island's biggest property with 208 rooms. These are spread over Garden, Superior, Beachfront, Beachfront Deluxe Suites and VIP Deluxe Suites and as of 01 April 2007, new Executive Villas 3 Bedroom will be available for booking. The property is just 5 minutes from the airport.
Edgewater Resort offers a variety of holiday options, from lazing in the sun to organised activities and unforgettable Island Night shows and feasts. The island bus service stops in the lobby allowing easy access to the rest of the island.
All rooms are tastefully decorated, with air-conditioning for personal comfort. Each has TV and in house movies, tea and coffee making facilities, IDD telephones and a refrigerator. There are two synthetic tennis courts on site as well as shops and a Budget car rental agency. There are two restaurants at Edgewater Resort and about six other Restaurants within easy walking distance.
The beach is tidal for swimming and the resort has a large swimming pool - a great area for cocktails to enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
Island Nights are Tuesday and Saturday.
Rates include Tropical Breakfasts.
